Q: Can I use an adjustable bed with my current headboard and footboard?
A: Adjustable bases work on most all beds with a few exceptions. There is no way to know if an adjustable base will work other than to try it.
Q: Will my old mattress work on an adjustable base?
A: A mattress has to be adjustable compatible. Most mattresses produced in the past 10 years are compatible. Check with your retailer to find out for sure.
Q: Will an adjustable base work on a platform bed?
A: Our bases are made to work on platform beds. However, many platform beds are not suitable for the added weight of the base. Also, using an adjustable base on a platform bed may make the mattress too high.
Q: Do I need a headboard for an adjustable bed?
A: No. Adjustable beds are completely self-supportive. Best of all, the overall height can be adjusted by changing the legs.
